Integrating migration into the VNR

Objective

Integrate migration into the VNR within relevant SDGs by mentioning information and policies and providing data.

Overview

The 2020 Voluntary National Review report of Morocco integrated the issue of migration within a number of relevant SDGs, not just SDG 10, specifically:

• Health coverage for migrants (SDG 3).
• Access of refugee and migrant children to support in school education (SDG 4).
• Measures adopted within employment schemes to regulate migrant employment and provide them with training programmes (SDG 8).
• Cooperation between Morocco and the countries of the South to exchange experiences (SDG 17).
  SDG 10 elaborates on the 2013 National Strategy on Immigration and Asylum, which focuses on facilitating the integration of regular migrants, rehabilitating the legal framework, establishing an appropriate institutional framework and managing the flow of migrants.
